To celebrate the launch of Gossip Girl season 2 on Max, Industria created ‘Club Constance’ at the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn – an ephemeral private club that captured the essence of the show. The VIP evening began with a screening of the first episode, hosted by creator Josh Safran – including gourmet movie snacks.
A chic after party followed, complete with specialty cocktails and a dance floor—beats and vibe courtesy of D.J. Pauli Cakes. At the “XOXO Salon,” our Glamsquad offered makeup touch-ups while Maria Black offered piercings. Other partners included YSL Beauty, Charles & Keith, Art of Sucre, Glow Recipe, China Glaze and Ardell, who offered products in the salon, as well as in gift bags.
Remaining inconspicuous, Gossip Girl was always watching. During the party, guests experienced a number of immersive moments that brought them to the center of the action. Throughout the space, guests found notes from Gossip Girl herself alluding to what’s to come and calling cards featuring a phone number that revealed a message from G.G. herself upon calling, as well as “spotted” photos of guests appeared in real time on the screen with a cheeky caption.
Guests were keen to take photos against a backdrop of quotes pulled directly from the show, rendered in large-scale dye-cut lettering, together with a green hedge step-and-repeat and, of course, a giant recreation of the Chandelier used in the key art. Influencers and talent included cast members Eli Brown, Emily Alyn Laud, Zión Moreno and Savannah Lee Smith, as well as costume designer Eric Daman.
