Virtual Product Launch, Consumer + Media Event

Industria Creative was proud to conceptualize and execute one of the most highly-anticipated brand launches in the beauty world, Rare Beauty. Dropping during a global pandemic, the virtually designed launch event created a community-based microsite that gave fans exclusive access to Selena at home – while custom mailers filled with product allowed guests to actively participate in the event.

Live from her home, Selena Gomez was joined by Influencer, Raquelle Stevens, and Rare Beauty Chief Product Officer, Joyce Kim, for an interactive masterclass in redefining beauty, and the announcement of the Rare Impact Fund whose mission is to raise $100 million over the next ten years to help increase access to mental health resources.

Our virtual event became a countdown, ending moments before the Rare Beauty store went live on Sephora.com – our platform had seamless ecommerce integration. In addition, though the launch event was one-night-only, our video capsule lived on for a month as a hub for sharing and connecting through the lens of Rare Beauty. Visitors created videos promoting positivity and good mental health – pillars of the brand.
