Snapshot
Strategic Partnership, Immersive Theatre, Influencer Marketing
To promote the original series, The First Lady, Industria Creative partnered with Showtime to transform the Presidential Suite at four Ritz-Carlton properties into The First Lady Suites. Styling set pieces and props, we created an immersive, sensorial and programmatic experience for visitors including media, influencers, hotel guests and the public.
Guests received a personalized note with direction on exploring the suite’s narrative, and discovering touch points including photographs, iconic fashion, furniture, art, books and more – all telling the story of their respective First Lady.
The suite at the Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park was inspired by the Franklin D. Roosevelt era in the White House, dedicated to Eleanor Roosevelt. The Michelle Obama suite could be found at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago. The Ford-era suite for Betty Ford was held at The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles; and The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C. hosted a suite that combined all three eras portrayed on the show.
Docent-led tours educated and entertained consumers while lucky Marriott Bonvoy members and select influencers were treated to an overnight stay. In addition, we hosted events with The Female Quotient, which put on fireside chats to discuss some of the themes portrayed on the show. Personalized sketch portraits by Chic, signature cocktail offerings and wardrobe displays in the lobby and hotels rounded out this immersive activation.
