Sony Pictures challenged Industria Creative to turn the ‘expected’ on its head for the world premiere of Bad Boys for Life. So, as if straight from the film, we brought the neon lights, energy and rawness of Downtown Miami to Los Angeles, shutting down Hollywood Boulevard for a wild ride of a night!
The Bad Boys themselves—Will Smith and Martin Lawrence—drove a custom Porsche, our official sponsor, past thousands of screaming fans lining Hollywood Boulevard before (literally) driving into our private event and up onto the stage. Talk about making an entrance! Will Smith performed, pumping up the crowd of 1,500 influencers, VIPs and media.
Guests had the exhilarating opportunity to drive a Porsche or Harley Davidson through the streets of Miami thanks to innovative AR technology, street artists painted murals and fan art was on display throughout the space. Additionally, there were Mojito bars, Cuban street food, DJs and dancers mashing up hip-hop and Rumba. Visitors took selfies against a graphic-wrapped double decker bus while Sony’s public relations team hosted exclusive interviews for media outlets in shipping containers that Industria transformed into broadcast press rooms. And, an 80-foot step-and-repeat provided a Miami-inspired backdrop for the cast before everyone headed inside the TCL Chinese Theatre for a screening. Needless to say: Hollywood came out to party!
